Have all of you watched Movie Manjhi? How many of you might claim that they have viewed this movie thoroughly?. I might prove you wrong today.

Movie manjhi depicts The Untouchables and the enacting of Article 15. Article 15 being one of the Fundamental rights is being protected under Constitution. A person proved guilty or suspicious will be sentenced under IPC if they show any act discriminating untouchables.

Article 15 is not at all about rape or rape victims instead it provides protection to citizens of india as stated Article 15 is a fundamental right in the Indian constitution which prohibits the discrimination by the state against any citizen on grounds only of caste, religion, sex, race and place of birth.

Now lets move back to movie Article 15  and Manjhi both of them show the results and how Article 15 was directed but do we know why this act was added in the first place? It has everything to do with Our Four castes Shudras, Vaishyas, Brahmins and Kshatriyas. Shudras were rightly termed as slaves and many of them were auctioned to highest bidders who used cruelty as weapon to their personal slaves. A person being born in shudra was forced to slavery boycotting him from his right to education. This act was not only enacted with shudras in mind but with a mindset to treat everyone with equality.
