Here's how to stop pop ups appearing when browsing
Open Internet Explorer.
Select "Tools" (it is in the top righthand corner of the browser). Scroll down and choose "Pop-up Blocker."
Scroll over and click "Turn On Pup-up Blocker." Restart your browser.
Select "Tools". Scroll down and click "Options."
Click the "Content" tab. Click the check box next to "Block pop-up windows."
Click the "OK" button and Restart browser.
Click "Safari" in the main menu bar.
Scroll down and click "Block Pop-Up Windows." Restart your browser.
